Checked Baggage: Domestic and international passengers can carry free checked baggage of 15 kg and 20 kg respectively. The dimensions (L+W+H) of the checked luggage should not exceed 158 cm (62 inches). Any domestic traveller carrying excess baggage will be charged Rs. 250 per kg at the check-in counter.
Hand Baggage: Passengers can carry a maximum of 7 kg of hand baggage, which includes laptop and duty free shopping bags. The size of the luggage should not exceed the standard dimensions of length 55cm+width 35cm+ height 25cm. Passengers with infants are allowed an additional piece of hand baggage weighing up to 7 kg, not exceeding the standard dimensions. In case, the baggage is found to be overweight at the boarding gate, Rs. 250 per kg will be charged. Passengers who want to take liquids in their hand baggage can do so by keeping two things in mind. First, the maximum volume of the liquid should be 100 ml and second, it should be fitted into a transparent and re-sealable 1 litre plastic bag. It should be noted that on any flights from Jammu and Srinagar airports, no hand luggage is allowed due to airport security regulations.
